President's Message

Welcome to The New England Institute of Art. I am delighted that you are here! You are now a part of an educational system nationally known for excellence in creative education. We are part of The Art Institutes, a system of more than 45 education institutions located throughout North America. We have a rich tradition and history, with thousands of outstanding alumni in the professional, creative, and culinary fields. The New England Institute of Art students are the beneficiaries of this strong legacy.

A New England Institute of Art education is not something we do to our students; it is something we do with them. Learning works best when you are an active participant. That means attending all of your classes, meeting deadlines, arriving to class on time, utilizing faculty, and asking questions. If you study, and give your best effort, you will receive all you hoped for from your education. Be involved, actively participate, get to know your instructors, the staff, and your fellow students.

The New England Institute of Art is located in the Town of Brookline, right on the Boston line, just a short distance from Fenway Park, the Museum of Fine Arts and is part of the vibrant higher education community for which the area is known. We urge you to take advantage of everything the location offers as you study, learn and grow.

If you are just beginning your college search, we invite you to explore our courses of study and the institution at-large through this catalog or via an in-person visit.
