The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Salt Lake City’s Best Teen Chef 2008 is Chris Bramon, a senior at Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri.
Bramon starting cooking when he was 12, helping mom at home. His mother taught him to cook home-style types of food.
When not in the classroom or the kitchen, Bramon enjoys fishing.
What inspires him? His love of the culinary arts. He prepares meals for friends and family almost daily and likes to improvise with his culinary creations, going to the store, seeing what’s fresh and building a meal around those components.
In addition to participating in the Best Teen Chef Final Round Competition, Bramon also attends Prostart competitions.
Someday, Bramon aspires to open up his own restaurants.
